Research Interests
I am interested in three primary lines of inquiry including
  1. Understanding the barriers and facilitators for improving 24-hour activity behaviors in oncology populations targeting sedentary behavior, physical activity, and sleep
  2. Mechanisms underlying the effect of 24-hour activity behaviors on cancer prevention and control
  3. Exercise immunology and exercise prescription for oncology populations with an emphasis on lifestyle implementation
Career Goals
I hope to work at a research focused university attached to an academic medical center and comprehensive cancer center. I am interested in developing real-world interventions that improve 24-hour activity behaviors in cancer survivors, reduce risk for cardiometabolic disease, and increase quality of life.
