About Me

Research Interests (Short Version) 
Mia is interested in promoting healthy 24-hour activity behaviors to improve population cardiometabolic health.  More specific areas of interest include:
  1. Developing population-specific interventions to promote health behavior change.
  2. A particular focus on women and sex/gender differences.
  3. The role of the gut microbiome in the above.
